Job Duties:

Responsible for IT project and product software development and implementation. Involved in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) for client-server, distributed capture / content management applications, including requirement gathering, design, development, implementation, testing, and production support. Discuss and communicate with business analyst to obtain project requirements and design software solutions. Perform analysis and understand the business needs, evaluate alternatives, and justify the recommended approach as part of preparing the business solution. Develop and enable IBM Datacap solutions with Python, C#, and SQL Server, coordinating with the business on BRD (Business Requirements Document) and test cases and responding in a timely manner in case of any issues. Perform technical analysis and design proof of concept as per the business needs. Responsible for Datacap development, migration from various imaging tools, and upgrading Datacap from earlier versions. Develop various custom actions to support business needs in the Datacap solutions. Handle deployment of codes, bug fixes, and migration activities for Datacap. Review and provide user acceptance with internal customers and business users as necessary. Design and implement a customized framework using C#, IBM Datacap, BACA, and AWS specifically tailored to the operational requirements of the business unit. Architecturally design the framework with a focus on scalability, modularity, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Conduct a pilot deployment to validate the framework’s effectiveness in improving workflow efficiency, data accuracy, and reducing manual processes. Based on the outcomes, initiate a phased rollout to extend the framework across many lines of business, aiming to unify processes and improve operational efficiency. Use of IBM Datacap, IBM FileNet, Automation Anywhere, IBM Business Automation Content Analyzer (BACA), C#, ASP.Net, VB.Net, Visual Studio, JavaScript, XML, Python, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, and AWS.

Requirements:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Associate Projects, Technical Lead, or related experience. Position requires 5 years of experience with IBM Datacap, IBM FileNet, IBM Business Automation Content Analyzer (BACA), C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, and SQL Server. 40hrs/week.
